Greear is the lead pastor of The Summit Church, in Raleigh-Durham, NC. This is a simple, practical guide for understanding the Gospel and applying it to one’s life.
4) What Is the Gospel? (9Marks)
Greg Gilbert and 9Marks offer What Is the Gospel? – a careful examination of what the gospel is and how it can impact our lives. Gilbert is senior pastor at Third Avenue Baptist Church in Louisville, Kentucky. His book accomplishes its goal of thoroughly explaining what the gospel is in just about 100 pages. A concise and important read.
5) Jesus + Nothing = Everything
Jesus + Nothing = Everything is not just a book, but an equation Tullian Tchividjian made after a year of personal strife as pastorate at Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church. Using his personal story, he calls for Christians to rediscover the gospel and reorient their lives around Jesus. This is a deeply impacting and eye-opening book.
