The Moral Vision of the New Testament: Community, Cross, New Creation, A Contemporary Introduction to New Testament Ethics, by Richard Hays (a leading expert in New Testament ethics) shows how the New Testament offers moral guidance on the most disturbing ethical issues of our time (such as divorce and homosexuality). Hays provides a logical, organized and objective look at the topics that give us the most trouble today.

First published as Living as the People of God (An Eye for an Eye in North America) in 1983, Old Testament Ethics for the People of God, by Chris Wright, is updated and revised. In it, Wright examines a theological, social and economic framework for Old Testament ethics. This is a foundational book that weaves together all the primary themes of the Old Testament and applies them to ethics for the people of God in any age.

The Doctrine of the Christian Life (A Theology of Lordship) is the third volume of John M. Frame’s Theology of Lordship series. It focuses on biblical ethics and presents a method for ethical decision-making. This is a massive, one-thousand plus page read that is scholarly, profound and comprehensive in scope.
4) An Introduction to Biblical Ethics (B&H Studies in Christian Ethics)
David W. Jones and B&H Studies in Christian Ethics and present An Introduction to Biblical Ethics. This book is a solid introduction to biblical ethics and thoughtfully explains the nature, relevancy, coherency, and structure of moral law as shown in the Bible. An excellent, highly readable introduction to Biblical-based ethics.
5) Evangelical Ethics: Issues Facing the Church Today, Fourth Edition
The fourth edition of Evangelical Ethics: Issues Facing the Church Today is the updated and revised version of John Jefferson Davis’ classic on ethical issues facing Christians today (including: homosexuality, genetics, abortion, euthanasia, war and peace and divorce). Davis does not give readers a direct answer to their questions, but asks them to examine their questions historically, biblically and applicationally.
